Dump Truck Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
The Dump Truck Driver position is responsible for operating and maneuvering sand, stone and shale in a high-volume production area and on roadways. This position is directly responsible for securing all loads to ensure no debris flees onto roadways. Follow all DOT and job site regulations. This position requires high attention to detail and constant awareness of its surroundings.

Essential Functions

1. Driving job site materials from one location to another
2. Using traffic lanes correctly while operating in the job site
3. Follow all DOT regulations while operating on the roadways.
4. Report Maintenance issues to dispatch/maintenance department.
5. Communicate effectively with operators and job site staff to ensure a safe work environment
6. Report any noncompliant issues or problems to your direct supervisor within a timely manner.
7. Daily equipment walk around and inspection.

Work Environment

This job operates inside a construction and mining job site and on local and state roadways. This role is routinely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions, to include weather. The noise level in the work environment and jobs sites can be loud. This position is on and around large moving vehicles and equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work vary depending on the job requirements. You will be expected to work weekends and holidays when required.

Travel
All local travel, no out of state travel will be required.

Required Education and Experience

1. Minimum of 21 years old
2. Current CDL A or B license

Preferred Education and Experience
1. Two years of Driving experience

Foreman

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Foreman is directly responsible for managing the construction crew on assigned job site. This position will be required to teach, train and mentor a team of direct reports. At times you will be the only person on the site giving direction and ensuring production is on track with business needs. Communication with all team members is essential to this role. You will be directly responsible for submitting and completing daily administrative tasks in a timely manner. Developing and building long lasting relationships with clients is important to this role. At times it will be required that you operate equipment while maintaining the leadership role. Meeting production goals within the project timeline. Understand and analyzing blueprints effectively to give accurate direction to job site workforce. This position requires high attention to detail and constant awareness of its surroundings.
Essential Functions

1. Must be capable of leading and training lower skilled employees in safe and productive work procedures
2. Responsible for pre-maintenance checks of all equipment for each job site
3. Supervise job site workforce
4. Possesses working knowledge of leadership and management skills
5. Review and advise performance of all direct reports
6. Operate large class equipment in a fast pace production environment
7. Read blueprints to project specification
8. Maintaining safety records for each job site employee and be able to provide proof of concept to safety and MSHA officials.

11. Submitting time cards and daily production sheets for all employees on site
12. Maintaining a healthy open door and conflict resolution within your team and job site.

14. Communicate effectively with the Superintendent on all project and employee concerns
15. Task training MSHA to stay compliant for each job site.
16. Process, maintain and submit new hire paperwork to corporate partners.
17. Ensure the job site is meeting all federal and state safety measures.
18. Advising Superintendent of skill set and performance behaviors of all direct reports
19. Weekly check in’s and clear direction meetings with all direct reports.
20. Managing employee engagement, turnover and retention.
21. Recommend disciplinary actions, terminations and performance management to Superintendent.
22. Other duties as assigned

Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview: 

The Chief Financial Officer position will be reporting to the CEO. The CFO is responsible for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Develop financial and tax strategies
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop key performance indicator measurements for key personnel and oversee monitoring
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Manage the accounting department with Controller and key reporting personnel to the Controller
  • Implement operational best practices
  • Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package
  • Oversee the issuance of accurate financial information and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring proper cost reporting systems in place as well as reliable process for monitoring estimated costs on projects and proper revenue recognition.
  • Report financial results to the board of directors
  • Help analyze options and implement new financial reporting system
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
  • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems throughout the organization
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage as well as bonding coverage
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including proper reporting and licensing in all states in which the business performs work.
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
  • Preparing annual financial budgets, CAPEX budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to the Senior
  • Management Team
  • Maintain banking relationships
  • Maintain relationships with key insurance and bonding partners
  • Maintain relationships with key legal partners

Desired Qualifications: 

The candidate for Chief Financial Officer should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Ideally candidate has experience working in public accounting and in the construction industry and has a minimum of 12 years combined experience. Ideally this person should have experience in partnering with or reporting to an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and/or Certified Public Accountants.
